BE KOBE Monument

A monument that was installed in Meriken Park in 2017 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the opening of Kobe Port. The phrase "BE KOBE" was born 20 years after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and embodies the idea that "the charm of Kobe is its people," and is imbued with a sense of pride in Kobe.
