[Kobe Door] átoa 1-Day Animal Keeper Experience

This is a special experience program offered by "Kobe no Tobira," a platform for local tourism programs operated by the Kobe Tourism Bureau (hereinafter referred to as the Kobe Tourism Bureau). Participants will have the opportunity to enter areas normally off-limits to the public, such as the back rooms and exhibition zones of the aquarium, and will work closely with active aquarium staff as their "partners." This special program will not only allow participants to learn about the ecology of the animals, but will also provide hands-on experience in cleaning tanks and actually feeding the animals. It is scheduled to be held on the third Friday of every month. We look forward to your participation.

A backyard tour to see what's going on behind the scenes at the aquarium

This is a backstage tour led by a zookeeper. The zookeeper will guide you through the backstage area, which is normally off-limits to the public, including the feeding room (where food is prepared) and the filtration equipment essential for maintaining the water quality of the aquarium, while providing commentary! This tour will not only give you rare behind-the-scenes information about the work of the zookeepers and the workings of the aquarium's facilities, but will also give you a deeper understanding of the creatures and the behind-the-scenes of the aquarium.

Held on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. *On specific dates from August 8th to 16th, it will be held daily.
